1. GESI and GiE Officer
This position is responsible for promoting Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI) approaches across CARE’s programs and policies and promote gender sensitive and gender transformative programming. S/he will provide technical support to the program/project team including partners on issues related to GESI, and build capacity of program/project and partner staff including different engaging alliances in GESI tools and procedures. S/he will assist in CARE’s Gender in Emergency (GiE) efforts to ensure that the differential needs of women, men, girls, boys, minority group and person with disabilities are identified and responded to (sensitive approach), and that inequality is challenged wherever possible (transformative approach).

CARE initiates rigorous investigation of complaints that indicate a possible violation of this policy and takes appropriate disciplinary action, as warranted.
