 Nepal Human Rights Year Book 2023 biannual pre-review program has been completed.

 The Nepal Human Rights Year Book 2023 biannual pre-review program published by Informal Sector Service Center (INSEC) Saptari was completed on Thursday at War Unit in Rajbiraj, Saptari.

 INSEC representative Manohar Pokharel presented a report at the program and said that 44 incidents were recorded biannually.

 In his report, 4 cases of murder, 13 cases of rape, 4 cases of sexual abuse, 2 cases of kidnapping, 1 case of inhumane treatment, 5 cases of polygamy, 1 case of abortion, 1 case of human trafficking, and 2 cases of indecent treatment are mentioned in his report.  Similarly, 3 cases of domestic violence, 1 threat, 1 clash, 2 attempts to kill are mentioned in 4 reports under economic, social and cultural rights.

 In the program, Rajendra Shrestha of the District Court expressed his commitment to human rights and mentioned that the annual book is important to be published by INSEC to know about human rights incidents.  He said that a full investigation should be carried out as the incident involving a human being is suspicious.

 Chief District Officer Janardan Gautam said in the program that if human rights are violated by the state side, rights may also be violated by other agencies.

 President of Nepal War Association Ram Prasad Chaudhary presided over the program, Chief of District Police Office Abinarayan Kafle, Law Officer of Madhes Province Kiran Sah, President of Nepal Journalist Federation Shravan Dev, Advocate Doman Sah, Manu Khanal, President of Non-Governmental Organization Baldev Mandal, Hit Narayan Lal of Police Community Service Center.  Das, Papson's Sanjay Sharma and others expressed views on human rights.

 Raghubar Prasad Shah, President of Human Rights Watch Group, welcomed the program conducted by Deepak Yadav.
