The Tharu people's representatives who won in the local level elections of 2079 were honored on Saturday during a program at Lahan in Siraha.

Under the chairmanship of Tharu Seva Kendra President Ramswarup Chaudhary and House of Representatives Member and former Minister of State for Industry Padam Narayan Chaudhary as the chief guest, Gita Chaudhary, Mayor of Surunga Municipality of Saptari, Dinanath Chaudhary, President of Agnisair Krishnasavaran Village Municipality, and Kalpana Chaudhary, Vice President, were honored.

Mahesh Prasad Chaudhary, mayor of Lahan municipality of Sirha district, was honored in the congratulatory and honor program organized by Tharu Community Service Center Lahan and Tharu Welfare Assembly Sirhadwar.  Similarly, the president of Lahan Ward No. 1, Yugal Kishore Chaudhary, Dhuran Chaudhary of 9, Suryanarayan Chaudhary of 11, Badri Narayan Chaudhary of 12, Tej Narayan Chaudhary of 15, Prathamalal Chaudhary of 16, Shyam Adhikari Tharu of 20 and other newly elected presidents, members of the municipality.  , the chief guest of the village council members and members was Padam Narayan Choudhary wearing Dosalla and Tha.  a.  S.  Chairman Satyanarayan Chaudhary Abir has been honored with a commentary.

In the congratulatory and honoring program, Dinanath Chaudhary, President of Agnisair Krishnasavaran Gappa, informed that I have stopped drinking alcohol for the sake of people's happiness at the request of the people.  He said that he would personally help Tharu Seva Sadan if not through GAP.  In that event, youth leader Ajay Kumar Choudhary requested the elders not to come when they were protesting for the rights of Tharus officers under Nepali constitution.  He has asked the people's representatives to develop the working language of the office as we have got the fruits of past protests today.  Expressing his happiness that Thakas is a very old organization and other caste organizations have been formed, he demanded from the platform that Tharu language Samabesh should be incorporated in Samabesi province as the right of Danbir tribals to donate land in the field of health education has been taken away.

Tharu Mahila Sabha Central President Bhagwati Chaudhary, Saptari Thakas President Shivnarayan Tharu, Ward President Daya Ganesh Chaudhary, Badri Chaudhary, Shambhu Chaudhary and others gave speeches in the program conducted by Professor Mukhilal Chaudhary.
