80 percent of the accumulated funds of the local level will be counted as deposits throughout the current year

Commercial banks will be able to count up to 80 percent of the amount in the accumulated fund account of the local level as deposits throughout the current financial year (FY) 2079/80.  Such a time limit was only until the end of January.

The Ministry of Finance wrote a letter to Nepal Rastrya Bank on Monday and informed that this time has been extended until the end of June.  This will greatly help to fill the lack of investable funds in the banking system.  Since there was a lack of investable resources in the banking system, the Ministry of Finance provided such a facility from December 5, 2078 to June 2079.  Then, at the beginning of the current year, Artha took another decision and extended this limit until mid-December.

A gang captured the Prime Minister. MPs were called to Baluwatar and made to insist that Deuba should be the prime minister. This resulted in the loss of central and state governments," he said.

The Nepali Congress has lost power.  Congress can no longer form the government in all the seven states from the center.

Although the Congress has verbally agreed to lead the government in turn, it has lost power because it refused to leave the first term.

CPN-UML, CPN-Maoist Center, Rashtriya Swatantra Party, Rashtriya Prajatantra Party, Janata Samajwadi Party, Civil Liberties Party, Janmaat Party and some independent MPs have made the new Prime Minister Maoist Chairman Pushpakamal Dahal Prachanda.

138 MPs are enough to form a government by achieving a majority in the 275-member House of Representatives.  The support of 169 MPs has gathered in favor of Prachanda.

With Prachanda becoming the Prime Minister as a new alliance, Nepali Congress, the largest party with 89 MPs, had to sit in the opposition.  CPN United Socialist Party and Democratic Socialist Party (LOSP) are also likely to be in the opposition.

When the Congress tried to keep the Prime Minister and the President, it lost the opportunity to lead the government.
